Surprises :

  • Previous year’s Winner Showtime drama “Homeland” didn’t even get nominated.
  • Multi-award winner James Spader got nominated for NBC thriller “The Blacklist”. I’m a fan of this show & it was a surprise for me
  • Brooklyn Nine-Nine : I haven’t even heard about this one & its IMDB score was below some other shows still it got a couple of nominations.
  • Much talked about Lee Daniel’s movie “The Butler” doesn’t get nominated.

Obvious Ones:

  • GRAVITY : Every single nomination this movie has received is worth it.
  • Bryan Cranston & Aaron Paul for Breaking Bad.
  • Atlas by Coldplay :This song featured in ‘Hunger Games – Catching Fire’ & I just knew this had to be nominated.
  • Behind The Candelabra : This Mini-Movie by Steven Soderbergh was one of the best I’ve ever seen and Micheal Douglas & Matt Damon were prety amazing in it.
